Elisa is the first telecommunications operator in Estonia to officially add smartphones from the global technology company OPPO to its product range. The new manufacturer fills the gap left by OnePlus's departure and offers Estonian consumers new options among top Android phones. Both the Reno16 series models and the manufacturer's flagship Find X9 Ultra will be available for sale.
OPPO is one of the world's leading smartphone manufacturers, whose devices are characterized by modern design, powerful cameras, and fast charging. Elisa's product range will include phones in various price categories, so both regular users and more demanding technology enthusiasts can find a suitable model.
According to Evelin Tulp, head of Elisa's telecommunications services division, the addition of OPPO to the company's product range is a natural continuation of the previous cooperation with OnePlus.
"OnePlus's decision to leave our region left a gap in the smartphone market, which we wanted to fill with an equally strong or even more capable alternative. Since OnePlus belongs to the OPPO group, OPPO was the logical next choice for us. After thorough negotiations, we can now, as the first Estonian telecom operator, offer OPPO smartphones to our customers," said Tulp.
According to her, OPPO's strength lies primarily in combining innovative technological solutions with thoughtful design.
"OPPO is not just a replacement for OnePlus, but also offers our customers new possibilities. The manufacturer is known for its top-level cameras, ultra-fast charging, and thoughtful design. For example, the Find series phones use camera technology developed in cooperation with the Swedish professional camera manufacturer Hasselblad. This is an important addition to the Estonian smartphone market and gives customers more choices than before," added Tulp.
Four OPPO smartphones are being added to Elisa's selection
Elisa is starting to sell four OPPO models, offering phones in different price categories for users with various needs.
OPPO Reno16 F 5G (256 GB) – 469 euros
OPPO Reno16 5G (256 GB) – 699 euros
OPPO Reno16 Pro 5G (512 GB) – 889 euros
OPPO Find X9 Ultra (512 GB) – 1739 euros
The Reno16 series is intended for users who value stylish design, high-quality cameras, and convenient everyday use. The Find X9 Ultra belongs to OPPO's flagship models and stands out with its powerful camera system and the latest technological solutions.
According to Elisa's device product manager Edgar Pahhomov, people no longer look only at the manufacturer's name when choosing a smartphone. “Camera quality, battery life, charging speed, and how comfortable the phone is to use every day are becoming increasingly important. OPPO can already offer strong competition to well-known manufacturers in these areas,” said Pahhomov.
All four OPPO smartphones are available in Elisa's e-store and retail locations.
