Standalone 5G, or 5G stand-alone (or abbreviated as 5G SA), is the next major leap in mobile communication technology, enabling faster, higher quality, and more secure connections than before.

Better quality experience, premium speed, and more stable connection. Smartphone batteries last longer and there is a minimum speed guarantee for home internet.

Standalone 5G network allows a part of the network to be given for exclusive use only to users of this package, giving them their own slice of the network, i.e., a premium quality experience.

VoNR (Voice over New Radio) is a technology that enables calls over the 5G network. VoNR allows faster call connection, better call quality, and smoother operation.

No additional setup or SIM card replacement is required. To use the standalone 5G service, a device with the appropriate support and updated software is needed.

Clients can use standalone 5G everywhere within our 5G coverage area.

If the 5G network is not available, the connection switches to the next available technology (primarily 4G).

Existing smart package customers can switch their current service to the new service independently in the self-service office. A new number can be registered for the smart package using the form found at www.elisa.ee/et/ariklient/internet/mobiilne-internet/iseseisev-5g

When changing the package, the new package becomes valid retroactively – next month you will already receive an invoice with the new monthly fee. The call minutes and messages (SMS + MMS) used during the current month will be recalculated according to the new package price list, but the internet volume used abroad will not be offset. This means that the foreign internet volume included in the new package's monthly fee will become valid immediately after the package change.
