If calls fail only from one specific number, first check whether outgoing calls from the calling number are working at all. If possible, try using your SIM card in another device. This will help you determine whether the issue is with the device or the SIM card. First, restart your phone. If that doesn't help, proceed to point 2. Determine whether you are unable to call any number or just one specific number. Did you dial the number correctly? For example, when calling abroad, you need to add the country code; for Estonian numbers, use +372XXXXXXX. Make sure your number is not closed due to unpaid bills. Check for possible coverage outages and faults in your area Faults and coverage outages If you are on a foreign network, make sure you have the international calling service enabled. If sending MMS does not work in Estonia Check your device's MMS settings. If the MMS recipient uses Telia mobile services, note that Telia has set a 1 MB limit for receiving MMS. This means that MMS messages larger than 1 MB will not reach Telia mobile numbers. As an alternative, we recommend sending the picture or video via a messaging app (Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, Viber, etc.) using mobile internet. Sending MMS does not work abroad Make sure mobile internet is enabled on your phone. To send MMS abroad, mobile internet must be enabled on your smart device. Make sure your mobile phone allows sending and receiving MMS while abroad. Some phones allow you to set in the settings how to behave while roaming: whether to receive MMS or postpone receiving until you return to the home network. Detailed information about your phone's capabilities and exact settings can be found in your mobile phone's user manual. Make sure that the mobile network you use abroad supports mobile data. Sending MMS abroad only works in networks that also allow data usage. Overview of services available in different foreign networks . You can order SMS notifications about attempted calls that did not reach you when your phone was out of coverage or switched off. To activate or deactivate the service: Log in To Elisa self-service . If you have access to multiple customer numbers, select the customer number for which you want to check data usage. From the main menu, select “Services and devices”. Select the mobile number for which you want to activate the service Select “Network services and forwarding”. Enable “Missed call notification”. The service is free and notifications about attempted calls are stored for 3 days.
