Before ordering an eSIM, ensure your device supports eSIM. If you would like an eSIM, contact your nearest Elisa sales office.

An eSIM (electronic SIM card) is a virtual SIM card that you download into your device to enable cellular service. Instead of inserting a physical card, this can be installed by scanning a QR code. An eSIM provides cellular service without the need for a traditional physical SIM card.

Good to know!

• If the eSIM profile is deleted from your phone (e.g., due to a factory reset), the eSIM can be restored to the same device.
• If you use an eSIM in a smartwatch and would like to place calls from the same number as your smartphone, you need to first subscribe to the MultiSIM service.
• If the device with an eSIM requires servicing, a new SIM card must be used for the servicing duration. When the device is returned to you, the same eSIM profile can be downloaded (the QR code voucher is required).
