Elisa received the title of Learner-Friendly Employer of the Year both at the Tallinn and national level. The recognition highlighted the company's diverse learning opportunities, a leadership culture that supports employee development, and the integration of learning with daily work and company goals. The title of Learner-Friendly Employer of the Year is awarded during Adult Learner's Week at both regional and national levels. In the recognition competition organized by the Estonian Association of Adult Educators ANDRAS, organizations that create opportunities for employees for self-improvement and lifelong learning are highlighted. The recognition was brought by diverse development opportunities. The jury highly valued Elisa's holistic approach to employee learning and development. The company offers employees various self-improvement opportunities, including internal and external trainings, e-learning, mentoring, coaching, and scholarships for formal education. The role of managers in supporting employee development and linking learning to the company's strategic goals is also of great importance. Special attention is paid, among other things, to the development of management and artificial intelligence skills. In addition, learning is supported by internal knowledge and experience sharing, a community of internal trainers, strategy days, workshops, and retrospectives. Employee development is emphasized throughout the employment relationship, starting with well-thought-out onboarding programs. Elisa also collaborates with schools, universities, and professional associations, offering internship opportunities to learners. Learning is part of everyday work. At the heart of Elisa's approach is the principle that employee development is not limited to attending trainings. Learning is also supported by daily work tasks, collaboration with colleagues, and sharing knowledge and experiences. The company invests to ensure that employees have the opportunities, knowledge, skills, and time necessary for development. At the same time, every employee is encouraged to take responsibility for their own development and to apply what they have learned in their daily work. The recognition received highlights Elisa's consistent work in creating a learning-supportive environment and the entire organization's contribution to employee development.
