When providing a service on a service number, the service provider or number owner must take into account the requirement that the premium rate applies to the caller starting from the 11th second. During the first 10 seconds of the call, the service provider is obliged to inform the caller about the price of the service. During the notification (the first 10 seconds), the premium rate does not apply; the package-based per-minute price is valid. For free service numbers, price notification is not mandatory. 800-series service numbers are intended for providing free services to the caller. For call minutes made to a free service number, the service provider pays Elisa the regular per-minute price. What is needed to start using a premium-rate service number? To open a service number in the Elisa network, you need to have a number usage permit issued by the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, and a state fee must also be paid for the use of this service number.
