No, Smart Insurance can only be arranged at the time of sale.
The number of insurance claims is not limited. For contracts valid before 17.06.2021, up to three insurance claims can be used during the contract period.
In case of theft or robbery of the device, you must contact Elisa no later than 7 days after the incident.
In case of damage or destruction of the device, you must contact Elisa no later than 31 days after the incident.
If the device is broken, it must be sent to the service center, where a repair offer will be made. If the repair offer is less than the insurance coverage of the device, the device will be repaired. If the repair offer exceeds the insurance coverage, it is possible to buy a new device within the coverage amount, and the old device will be sent for destruction.
The data on the device should be backed up before sending it for repair, if possible. Elisa does not guarantee the preservation of data stored in the device memory, SIM card, or memory card, and the client is responsible for this. You should also log out of all accounts used on the device, including email accounts. The processing of personal data is carried out according to

When using an insurance claim, you must always pay the deductible specified in the contract. In case of theft or total loss (the device is no longer available), a double deductible must be paid.
The insurance coverage amount is stated in the contract and is the customer price of the device. The coverage amount decreases over time. For the first 24 months, the coverage is 100%. From the 25th month until the end of the contract, the coverage is 40% of the purchase amount.
Smart Insurance is shown as fixed-term because the contract automatically ends after 5 years. Smart Insurance can be terminated without additional costs.
Smart Insurance can be terminated as follows:
Log in
to Elisa self-service.
Select “Services and devices” from the main menu.
Select “Elisa Smart Insurance”.
Select “Close service”.
The contract will be automatically terminated after 31 days. The request to terminate the Smart Insurance contract can be canceled in the same view by selecting "Customer-wide services" under the "Elisa Smart Insurance" section and choosing "Cancel closure". The final invoice for the terminated contract will be issued on the invoice following the month of termination. The last monthly fee is proportional to the number of days.
