Frequently Asked Questions Ordering Internet Tickets It depends on what you use the internet for, e.g.: 3 GB: 1 hour of watching a series (in Full HD quality) 1.7 GB: 1 hour of watching a video on YouTube (in Full HD 1080p quality) 1.2 GB: 1 hour of making a video call on Skype (in Full HD quality) 0.15 GB: 1 hour of listening to music on Spotify 0.003 GB / 3 MB: opening the website Swedbank.ee/Delfi.ee 0.00002 GB / 0.02 MB: sending an email without an attachment Internet tickets cannot be pre-ordered, i.e. the ticket is activated immediately after ordering! If you want to order a ticket directly from your device, make sure that mobile data (roaming data) is enabled on your smart device when entering a foreign network. Upon entering a foreign network, we will send you an SMS with a link to activate the internet: https://www.elisa.ee/internet-valismaal (the link only works in a foreign network!) Important nuances: Turn off Wi-Fi – otherwise the link will not open correctly. Clicking the link is safe – opening the website is FREE for you! If you do not have the rights to order the ticket directly from the device, call us at 6 600 620. When joining Elisa, you have by default all the rights to order an internet ticket! If you have changed your number settings in the meantime, check in self-service before traveling whether you still have the relevant rights. To order an internet ticket, your number must have three rights/settings enabled: User rights and settings - While abroad: extra internet data or internet ticket Number settings - Access to the network abroad is allowed Number settings - Use of mobile internet in Estonia and abroad is allowed Yes, it is possible, but please note that the ticket becomes valid immediately after purchase. When the data is used up, we notify you twice by message: when 70% and 100% is reached. If you are surfing the net and the ticket runs out during the internet session, you will be automatically redirected to the page to order a new ticket. You can also find the SMS we sent you when entering the foreign network, which contains the ticket activation link https://www.elisa.ee/internet-valismaal (the link only works in a foreign network!). Opening the website is FREE for you! NO and again NO! You do not need to worry about extra charges, because opening the ticket ordering website is FREE for the customer (Elisa pays for those megabytes itself!). If you have an active Wi-Fi connection, the website will not open correctly. The ticket is valid from its activation until the internet data is used up OR until the end of the time period (24/168/720 h). A day ticket is valid for 24 h, a week ticket for 7 days / 168 h, a month ticket for 30 days / 720 h. Even if you order a month ticket at the end of the calendar month, you still use it for 30 days or until its data is used up. Use of foreign operator Charges for mobile internet used abroad do not just appear on the bill. Every internet session made in a foreign network is logged, and Elisa receives billing information from the foreign operator whose network you used. Based on consumption and the price list, Elisa issues the bill to its customer. Prices for services offered by foreign operators (such as calls from a foreign operator's network to third country networks) may be higher than calls from the same network to Estonia. The calculation of service prices is based on the tariffs set by the foreign operator, applicable tax rates, exchange rates, and margins. These prices may change and do not depend on the home operator, so the home operator is not responsible for them. For more detailed price information, call us at 6 600 620 before using the service. Without exception, all Elisa private customer call and smart packages include 30 call minutes for EU travel. While abroad, both incoming and outgoing calls in EU countries, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands count towards the call minute quota. These call minutes are free of charge under the following condition: the call must take place between the listed countries (e.g. the call recipient also uses the operator services of the listed countries). Calling outside the European Union is not included in the free minutes in the package. The price per minute for such calls is 2.35 euros per minute and is charged in 60-second intervals. Calling and internet limits abroad The credit limit for day, week, and month tickets is 250 €/month per number. The credit limit for data-based internet usage (you pay according to the price list for each MB used) is by default 60 €/month per customer. This can be increased in self-service: number settings, data-based internet monthly limit while abroad. To avoid service closure at an inconvenient time due to the credit limit, it is recommended to make a corresponding prepayment when using services abroad consciously. The credit limit for communication services is by default 55 € per customer when joining Elisa. The limit increases six months after joining and then every month if bills are paid (formula: six-month average bill × 2). NB! The credit limit is not a limit service, and the bill for communication services may exceed the set credit limit. Calls made and received abroad may reach Elisa with a delay – therefore, communication services used abroad may not be included in the credit limit in time. Regardless of the credit limit, the customer is obliged to pay for all communication services used in full. Limits are primarily set for the protection of customers themselves, to avoid accidental large bills. To avoid service closure at an inconvenient time due to the credit limit, it is recommended to make a corresponding prepayment when using services abroad consciously.
