In order to transfer the contract to another person, the consent of both the current and the new owner is required. Log in to Elisa self-service. If you have access to multiple customer numbers, select the customer number under which you want to perform the ownership transfer. From the main menu, select “Services and devices”. Select the correct mobile number and click on it (on the number, not the box in front of the number). Select “Actions”. Select “Ownership transfer”. Tick the service(s) you wish to transfer to the new owner. You cannot select services that are associated with a pending ownership transfer order or services that are being opened or scheduled for future termination. Then click the “Next” button. Select the customer to whom you want to transfer the service(s). To do this, specify the customer type and enter either the personal identification code or the registration code, depending on the selected customer type. NB! The service(s) can be taken over from all customer numbers associated with the given personal or registration code. Enter the contact details of the receiving customer: email address and phone number. Then click the “Next” button. Under Users, device contracts, and additional services, you can select which additional services, device contracts, and user data will be transferred with the ownership change. To modify the data, click the “Edit” button. NB! If the user of the number changes, i.e., the new user has not previously used the main number, remove the checkmark from the “User” box. To save changes, click the “Save” button. A “Summary” view will open, showing the main services, devices, and additional services that will be transferred to the new owner. Click the “Confirm” button. By clicking “Cancel order”, you can interrupt the ownership transfer initiation and start again. The ownership transfer order is valid for up to 30 days. After initiating the ownership transfer, a notification will be sent to the new owner by email and SMS. If the recipient refuses the offered ownership, the service(s) will remain with the current owner, who is fully responsible for paying the invoices. You can track the status of the ownership transfer in the self-service. Make sure that you log in under the correct customer number to which you want to receive the service(s) via ownership transfer. Click the “Sign contract” button on the homepage. In this view, all services, device contracts, and additional services that you can accept to your customer number are displayed. The monthly fee(s) and the one-time ownership transfer fee are also shown. Select “I confirm that I give Elisa permission to process personal data.” The system will then automatically perform a credit check to verify whether you can take over the service(s). If the credit check was successful, select “Confirm”. A document “Ownership transfer agreement” will then open in the “Thank you for ordering” view. The ownership transfer agreement is a document that proves which services and obligations were transferred and when. If you agree with the content specified in the document, sign the document digitally. After signing the document, the service(s) will be automatically transferred to your customer number. Upon confirmation of the ownership transfer, notifications will be sent to both the previous and new owner, confirming that the ownership transfer has been completed. The monthly fees for the service(s) and device(s) will be calculated proportionally according to the number of days, meaning that: The previous owner pays for the services, etc., until the ownership transfer is confirmed. The new owner pays for the services, etc., from the moment the service(s), etc., are taken over.
