Elisa provides communication services to customers on a credit basis. To protect both customers and Elisa from potential credit losses, we have set a credit limit for the use of communication services. If this limit is exceeded, we ask you to make a prepayment.
All services you have used during the current month, except for monthly fees, are included in your credit limit.
You can see your credit limit amount in Elisa self-service by doing the following:

Elisa has set the following default credit limit for new customers:

The service credit limit is also stated in your subscription agreement.
If you have been an Elisa customer for more than 6 months, your credit limit will be dynamically increased, taking into account the size of your previous invoices. For example, if your largest invoice in the last 6 months was 100 euros, your new credit limit will be 200 euros.

It may happen that the credit limit is filled from 75% to 100% during a single call. In this case, unfortunately, we cannot send the first warning message.
If your services are restricted due to the credit limit and you then make a prepayment, the services will be automatically restored after the payment is received. If necessary, restart your device.
NB! Payments are usually received within 2 hours, but depending on the bank, this time may vary. Check with your bank how long a money transfer takes.
If you need a higher credit limit, contact us via the chat window on our website.

When making a prepayment, make sure that all issued invoices are paid. Otherwise, the payment will be used to cover already issued invoices.
The credit limit cannot be decreased.
NB! If you are going abroad and know that you will need a higher limit, be sure to make a prepayment. This way you avoid a situation where services are closed due to the credit limit at the most inconvenient time. For example, if your credit limit is 110 euros and you make a prepayment of 100 euros, your credit limit for the current month will increase to 210 euros.
Please note that the credit limit is not a limit service and the invoice for the use of communication services may be higher than the set credit limit.
Payments are usually received within 2 hours, but depending on the bank, this time may vary. Check with your bank how long a money transfer takes.
As soon as the payment has been received in Elisa's settlement account, the services will be automatically restored. If necessary, restart your device (restart).
